Greetings. This blog is the companion to the NYC Cricket Crawl project. A project to map, survey, and explore the crickets and katydids of NYC and our societies' attachments to them.
Specifically, it is designed to document the process of creating the NYC Cricket Crawl Project so that others who wish to do something similar in their communities can learn from our experiences.
No other entries will be made to this blog until the night of September 11, 2009. During that night one of our participants will blog the entire night letting you know of our experiences in real time until we are finished at dawn. Afterwards we will document the pluses and minuses of the event and give recommendations for followup.
